AMWA-DVC Networking Dinner at AMWA 2024 Conference in New Orleans, LA

Thursday, October 24, 2024, 5:45 to 8:30 pm CDT​

Program chair: Laura Sheppard, MBA, MA

Format: We have reservations for a total of 22 people at the following restaurants within walking distance of the conference hotel (New Orleans Marriott, 555 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70130):

  • Blue Bayou Restaurant & Oyster Bar (717 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70130)—6:15 pm reservations for 6 people (including 1 group leader)

  • Zesty Creole (827 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70112)—6:15 pm reservations for 10 people (including 1 group leader)

  • Red Fish Grill (115 Bourbon St. New Orleans, LA 70130)—7:15 pm reservations for 6 people (including 1 group leader). Note: The 7:15 pm reservation time means that this group will meet in the lobby around 6:45 pm. 

Agenda: We will meet in the lobby of the conference hotels from 5:45 to 6:15 pm CDT (or 6:45 pm for the Red Fish Grill group) on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the official gathering place for the AMWA 2024 Thursday Chapter and Regional Networking Diners. 

  • Watch for people with AMWA-DVC signs.

  • After the groups assemble with their group leader, participants will walk to the restaurants.

  • Registered late arrivals may meet their group at the restaurant.

  • Reservations are for 6:15 pm CDT for the Blue Bayou and Zesty Creole groups, and 7:15 pm for the Red Fish Grill group.

Cost: There is no registration fee. Each person will pay their own restaurant bill, including gratuity. You must register to reserve a seat at your preferred restaurant.

Registration: Registration closed at 5 pm CDT on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.
